Future simple tense
Usage
The future simple tense is used to describe actions or events that are certain to happen in the future, or plans or intentions that the speaker has for the future.
I will graduate from college next year.
They will go to Ha Long Bay next week.
The future simple tense can also be used to make predictions about future events
I think it will rain tomorrow.
Form
The future simple tense is typically formed using the auxiliary verb will followed by the base form of the verb.
Signal words
Signal words such as tomorrow, next week, in a month, someday, etc. are often used with the future simple tense to give context and indicate the time frame of the action or event being described.
Negation and question forms
To form negative sentences in the future simple tense, use will not before the verb in base form:
I will not go to the party tonight.
To form questions in the future simple tense, the auxiliary verb will is moved before the subject:
Will you come to the game with me tomorrow?
